I'm not sure if anybody else has heard about this show here, but it is one great mystery that gets explained little by little as their season's go on. So far they've spawned two season's with a total of 23 episodes, and in 2008 Season 3 will air with 10 new episodes.

Basically the show is about a sixteen year old boy named Kyle who wakes up in a forest on the edge of Seattle without any memories of an earlier life. Kyle is like a newborn baby in his lack of knowledge of human social life: he doesn't know the simplest things, like how to eat or drink, and cannot communicate with others. When Kyle walks naked into a nearby town, he is picked up by the police. As they cannot find his records, he is taken to a childrens' home where it is discovered he doesn't have a navel. Nicole Trager, a therapist, is interested in Kyle. She realizes Kyle doesn't belong at the home and brings him to her home while the police look for his family. The series follows Kyle and the Trager family as Kyle develops socially and searches for answers to his past.

That synopsis may not sound too exciting, but I guarantee if you watch an episode you'll be hooked. Quite a few of them are actually funny in how things are explained.

So has anyone else heard of the show or watched it? If so, what's your opinions on it?

I've seen it, but honestly only watched it cuz the guy who plays kyle is hott. For some reason the no belly button thing is a total turn on,lol.

Ive been watching it since it started and youre right it does hook you. I havnt been able to watch every episode but i have watched most of them. theres defidently some mysteries i have in the show. dont you just hate how they only give you a little info and then the show ends? drives me crazy. i also hate how long you have to wait for the next season to start lol. its a good show for this day in time but nothing can compare to power rangers in the 90's lol.

I absolutely love this show. It's one of ABC Family's best.

Kyle XY is a great show. I love it.

I thought season 1 was pretty good, but season 2 got to be really drawn out.

I was really hyped for this show, but I lost interest in it too soon. It didn't keep my attention for long into the series.

I live in the UK and have seen up until season 2 here. Personaly, I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of Lost for some reason. I think it was because of the mystery surrounding it.

Unfortunately with me living in the UK I haven't been able to seen any of the other series, I would really like to as I liked the way in which the show was progressing. The character devlopment was ace. I just hope they continue it and give it proper closure.
