I thought it would be a cool idea to talk about any famous person you've met in your life. So if you've met anyone famous or someone you would just like to share about them go ahead and post it in here.
I've met a few famous people, when i went to Green Bay a few years ago i met Donald Driver, he's the Packers starting wide receiver and was elected to the Pro Bowl the last two years. I also met the Packers starting kicker Ryan Longwell but he left two years ago in free agency and joined the rival Minnesota Vikings but it was a fun experience non the less.
The person i enjoyed meeting the most though was NFL great Jerry Kramer, he was a guard for the Packers in the 60's and is most known for the lead block that let Bart Starr run in the endzone for the game winning touchdown. That game made the Packers the first team to be in the Superbowl, and they won that game. It was nice meeting him because i never knew that he lived only a few hours away from where i do. So i was able to talk to him for 10 minutes or so when he was driving through my town one day. I was absolutely shocked when i first saw him, i was thinking what the heck is he doing in this small town. Turns out he has relatives over here and comes to visit from time to time. If you look him up online you will see that he's in the Packer Hall of Fame and is known as one of the best guards to ever play in the NFL.
Other than that i havnt met anyone else that was famous but i hope to meet more interesting people through out my life. So post here if theres anyone that you met or know thats famous or interesting and would be cool to hear about.

I used to live in Los Angeles but I never really noticed any famous people. Probably because I didn't know any one, so that was probably my fault. Once though, I met the producer of the show Lizzie McGuire from Disney channel. Awkward moment . . . she liked my looks and wanted to know if I would like to start acting. I was just a kid, 8 years old. So embarrssing.
But my cousin once saw Ashley or Mary-Kate Olsen at a restaurant once. And her sister once saw Dylan and Cole Sprouse at the airport.
EDIT: I just recalled this recently and remembering it now, this is probably the most important. At my elementary school, we used to have this day called Career Day. Well, this was still while I lived in LA, so at the time, Power Rangers Time Force was going on. That year, the Pink and Blue Ranger at the time came to visit my school. I never talked to them, but my sister did and got their autographs.

Hmm, I don't think I can really say that I've met anyone really famous.
I think that the closest I've ever come to meeting anyone even remotely famous was when I met Canadian Comedian Ron James. For anyone who hasn't seen his act I highly suggest you search youtube for some clips, as he is easily the best comedian I've ever had the pleasure of seeing (three times).
He was also the co-star next to Jim Varney in the movie "Ernest Rides Again," and I actually let him borrow my copy of the old VHS. He autographed it, an advertising poster for his act, and both of his DVDs I bought.
He is both a hilarious comedian and a an excellent person. Definitely hope he comes back to the Classic Theatre before too long.
On a different note, I may get to meet Leonard Cohen this summer. The Theatre is trying to book him for their summer poetry festival, and a lot of people are very excited over the possibility.

I work for a well known restaurant in Boston, so athletes and 'stars' come in often. Torre used to always come in with Jeter and Arod when they were in town. Yao Ming was there with Mutumbo earlier this year, Dane Cook was in when he was taping his new movie, as well as the Rock when he was making The Gameplan. Sox & Pats guys are in all the time too. Most of them are really nice and will hold down a conversation...

I can't say I've really met a famous person. The closest would be that my mom used to babysit the son of now President of the Florida Marlins baseball team Larry Beinfest. Again, since he is the president of a team that nobody in Florida cares about I can't say he's famous but he is pretty important and skilled. Anyone who can put out a competitive team (not playoff wise but will compete hard every game) on a team budget of 21.3 million that is less than Alex Rodriguez's and Jason Giambi's yearly salary must be a genius which is why he got promoted from GM to President in the first place.

Johnny Young Bosch (that's right, Adam the green ranger) came to a sci-fi convention held at my college a couple of years ago. I didn't get to meet him, however. A few of my friends did. I think he mainly does voice work now.

Personally I have met quite a few famous people if you will. My father worked in radio for 22 years so I was quite privileged in that area. I feel like it would take me forever to name all the people that I have met. So i'll just leave you guys with that. Well to name a couple... Toby Keith, Cecil Fielder, and Joe Dumars.

All the famous people I meet are usually MMA fighters here locally in New Mexico.
Diego Sanchez
Rashad Evans
Keith Jardine
George St. Pierre
Chuck Liddel (was in town shit-faced at the bars with some hotties)
I did meet Method Man at a concert here as well. Also, while in the crowd he did a crowd surf and even stood up on the crowd's hands. I was fortunate to be in one of the first rows and actually support his left foot, haha. He puts on a good show so if you get a chance to see him live in concert, it's a must!!

Yes. I have met a couple of famous people. The one most recent was Forrest Whitaker who happened to be on the same plane that I was on. We were waiting around and I asked for his autograph and he gave it to me. He's was really nice and was bothered by people taking pictures of him.

When I was in Disney World my mom and I met Dan Zanes, a guy who sings for toddlers on playhouse disney, and even though I didn't care, nor did my little brother because he didn't recognize him off TV, my mom was very excited.

I met John Dimaggio at an Adult Swim convention about a year back. He does the voice of Bender on Futurama. I talked to him and got his autograph. I also saw Michael Winslow. The guy who does all of those crazy sound effects. He was there with several of the writers from Robot Chicken. I didn't speak to him, but I waved at him as I was leaving the convention. He nodded to me and smiled.
I soiled my pants.
