Like many of you, my favourite moment from Power Rangers is when Jason becomes the Gold Ranger. First, Tommy says that he is bringing back an old friend, which instantly raises our anxiety and make us wonder "Who can it be?". Then, Jason appears. I was completely thrilled, since Jason is one of my favourite rangers of all time. Like I said before, I believe that he truly epitomizes the sense of leadership, courage and bravery.

However, the moment that had more impact over me was Zordon's death. Although it does not resemble joy, at all (in fact, it is the saddest scene of Power Rangers, as far as I'm concerned), it had a huge impact on the storyline, since it was totally unexpected. When Zordon told Andros to kill him, I was thinking "He can't do that! Power Rangers aren't supposed to end like that!". I guess that only a couple years later, I fully understood the meaning of Zordon's death. Nevertheless, I wish there had been another way...

I always liked when the White Tiger came flying out and would trip and fall. I'm not sure if it was only on White Light. He had his own personality and it was cool to see him mess up.

Actually, I have two, and oddly they happened in the same episode of a season I didn't like. blink.gif

My favorite moment's are when Bulk and Skull kicked the crap out of a group of cogs, by themselves. It put a nice new level of depth on the characters, and was just epic.

My second, was when Jason went evil, and Tommy was trying to bring him over to the good side. It always stayed with me when he said, "The tables have turned, and now I'm going to be a friend to you, the same way you were to me".

Powerful stuff. cool.gif

My favorite moment was when Zane came out of his frozen state. The tension in the episode was so gripping.

I'm trying to remember exactly when it was, but I'll describe it and hopefully you all can help me out.

It was when Adam returned to help out one of the newer groups of Power Rangers (I don't remember which group) and he still had his old Morpher with him in his bag. He then decides to old-school morph into the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger. To me, when I saw that, I had that feeling of nostalgia that used to come to me the many years before when I used to watch Mighty Morhpin as a kid.

That my good friend was a Power Rangers In Space episode. Carlos accidentally attacked Cassie, and lost all confidence in himself and chose to give up his powers, and Adam came and helped him train to redevelop his confidence. But they were attacked in the midst of their session and Carlos didn't have his Morpher. So, Adam "Danger Morphed" in order to protect him until the others arrived.

Yes, that was a good moment. smile.gif

My favourite parts are in White Light when it's revealed that Tommy is the new white Ranger, then the Lost Galaxy episode where Andros saves Leo from the red Psycho Ranger and the episode where the Magna Defender first time apeared with Leo on his shoulder.

My favourite moment has to be when the power rangers get their new morphers or when they become power rangers. I always like seeing the different people or the new morpher styles that come up every season.

Favourite moment in Power Rangers history? Several. Every shot featuring Amy Jo Johnson's butt. wink.gif Aside from that rather obvious one, I'd say my favourite moment in the Zordon-era side of things would probably be when the Rangers first met Tommy, as the Green Ranger. If this were a more serious show, this would have been when pants were soiled. It was just awesome to finally see the Power Rangers have a challenge. I also liked when Tommy was revealed as the White Ranger. The anticipation that had been built up was great and Kimberly fainting still makes me laugh.

Outside of the Zordon-era, but still in the Saban-era, I'd probably say when the Magna Defender explained himself to Leo, with that speech of his was a big moment in the show's history and right up there with the stuff from the Zordon-era.

"You want so badly to believe that there is goodness inside of me. Stop believing! My heart died when Scorpius took my son from me, only darkness remains."

Seriously now, that gives me goosebumps it's so epic.

As for a favourite moment in the Disney-era, I'd probably say when Tenaya 7 found out she was human did it for me. Not the best, but it was definitely extremly important and it was done well.

So my all-time favourite moment in PR history, from Mighty Morphin' to R.P.M would most likely be Magna Defender's speech. While the evil Green Ranger was amazing and still makes me smile, Magna Defender gave me chills. At twenty years old. So, he wins. Seriously, that was an amazing episode.

There are several moments worth mentioning.

1. Any of those moments with Tommy. Green Ranger, White Ranger, Black Ranger. Simply awesome.

2. The beginning of Zeo. It was awesome to them get all new and different powers with new costumes, new zords and new villains.

3. Pretty much everything involving the Magna Defender and when Mike took up the mantle, was concentrated awesome for me when I first watched. It impressed just as much when I watched it as an adult too.

There were a lot of moments in Power Rangers that were awesome. I'll try to do a top 5, but there are many more awesome things than these 5.

5. Tommy vs. Lord Zedd Coming in at #5 is my favorite fight sequence in MMPR. Happening in the Changing of The Zords, from season 3, Tommy goes to save Kimberly and comes face to face with Lord Zedd himself. And not only that, but Tommy gets destroyed in the fight. His quick thinking saved him, but it was nice to see Tommy not be invincible, like he had appeared to be in about the last half season.

4. Carter in The Fate Of Lightspeed Carter may not have been the best Red Ranger, but if there's anyone out there that wants to argue he was terrible, I will take that up. Carter had his share of bad moments (Getting mad at Capt. Mitchell, when he was given the order to put the fire out instead of saving the people, Not being willing to take a day off), but they were all simply because he wanted what was best. His best moment, however, comes in the finale of Lightspeed, where he is willing to give up his life, and spend an eternity in the Demon Underworld to ensure the demons are sealed in there as well. That moment, alone, made Lightspeed much more epic.

3. Tommy's First appearance as the Green Ranger "Green With Evil" was really the first episode that had an epic feel to it. Unlike previous episodes, it finally presented the rangers with a challenge they couldn't take easily. There was no easy solution to it. Also, it introduced the man, the myth, the legend; Tommy Oliver. A lot of people would put this higher, but I don't feel like it was the best moment out there.

2. Dr. K in General I would be more specific, but I can't. Her entire character is amazing, from being kidnapped as a child, to still being afraid of sunlight, despite the fact that she knows she was lied to by Alphabet Soup. She created the main antagonist and is fighting to stop him. Everything about her character is perfect, and for that she gets the #2 moment in Power Rangers.

1. Countdown to Destruction The first time, for me, that I could honestly say that it didn't feel like it was just a kids show. Without watching the entire season of In Space, it's not as good, but it's still amazing. It was a great ending to the first 6 seasons. Bringing back other rangers COULD have made it better, but it was still amazing the way it was.

I was definitely caught off guard when Tommy came back in Return of an old friend after losing his powers from the green candle. I thought he was done for and that was like a let down turning into something amazing at the time, but nothing beats when Tommy takes his helmet off as the white ranger.

Within the Saban-era, I loved Countdown to Destruction (where everything just "fit" together, everything was interconnected in some way). I also loved Tommy's return as the White Ranger. The suspense (as a kid) was immense, having to wait another few weeks.

Another, more "recent" episode I really liked was "Legacy of Power" from Dino Thunder. It had been a long time since I had seen most of the older Power Rangers episodes, and this one did a good job of letting me remember my earlier childhood, although the urge to watch the seasons again didn't strike me until much more recently.
