Halloween Skin

As all of you have already realized Tyrailius and I (moreso Tyrailius as I just sat back and watched) worked on our Halloween skin last night and as you can see it is now available for selection from the skin drop-down box found at the bottom of the forum. We set it as the default skin which means all Members when they come to this site will see this skin. We left the skin "Generation Z" up as an option though because we realize not everyone is a fan of dark skins. If you don't like either of the options don't worry in 14/15 days all the other skins will all be available again and this skin will go into hiding until next year.

I'd like to publically thank PRF4L for providing the banner. We will be holding competitions for future banners in the near future so be sure to keep an eye on the Creative Designs forum for details!

Trust me Ryu, the pleasure is all mine. I never thought you would actually use it. I just wanted to submit something for Halloween. It was fun to make, and I'm looking forward to jumping into some competition with the members of GZ for some more banners.

I'm really looking forward to what the other members here can produce. I know the sigs and avatars thread that was started is showing some great work from a lot of talented members here.

I like the skin. It gives a holiday feel to Generation Z, you know. I personally would like to see more of such skins(i.e for Christmas, Easter etc).

I haven't been here in awhile and wondered what happened when the page was dark. This is something different compared to all the other visits. I really love the skin! I guess this one would be my favorite for now, too bad it has to go into hiding after Halloween.

I also love the banner, PRF4L. It gives it a fresh feeling not having to look at a Power Ranger banner for once. Though, I'll admit I loved the other skins and banners last time I was here.

Happy early Halloween. I really hope you guys (the staff) have some time to enjoy for yourselves one day.

I get to spend an entire day scaring the crap out of little kids who make the mistake of knocking on my door, as well as dressing up as my favourite literary character Inspector Javert. And I get to grow mutton chops this year. Halloween is awesome in ways I can't even begin to describe.

At first I was completely disoriented by the dark skin that I checked the url to make sure I typed in the correct website. However, after a short adjustment period, I must say that this skin is perfect for Halloween especially that banner.

Personally, I love darker skins, so it's a nice change of pace. And it's also cool that you did the custom skin for the holiday. You know, that would be a cool thing to do, make different skins for all the holidays. It would give a more personal touch to this place.

I, like Jefferson, had to double check the URL address and make sure I was at the correct place. It looks awesome though. Nice change of pace! Great job on the banner as well PRF4L.

I think it is quite funny that some of you had to double check the URL address to make sure you typed it in correctly! Don't feel bad if you did this because when I used to be an Administrator at another forum if they'd change the layout overnight I'd always have to double check the URL.

A little update is that you may now see that your name now appears in orange if you're not on Staff. This is due to the fact I thought the skin felt a little too dark and since we are still working on bits and pieces of this skin I figured we needed some more orange. So I hope everyone enjoy's their name being colored. Now, for the rest of this month, you can kind of feel like Staff Members.

I certainly like the touch of orange on member names. While I didn't have to double check the URL, when I first saw OKJumperGirl's name in orange I did double check her status. Which was, of course, before I noticed everyone elses was the same way.

Very nice touch to a great skin, man.

I didn't do a double take at the URL either, but I was shocked to see the banner I made put up. I wasn't actually expecting it, like I said before.

I really like the orange usernames though. It helps add to the whole Halloween name.

I really liked the member colour change. It gives an equality feeling among the Generation Z forum members, you know. Way cool guys.
